After many months our family welcomed a sweet boy to our family last week.

Maximus ‘Max’ Giovanni Tapper joined us last Tuesday August 15th at 1:03 pm. He weighed 7lbs and 3 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. He’s absolute perfection and we couldn’t be more in love.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t extremely worried how my other two would act with his arrival. There have been hard days. They cried. I cried. But the amount of love in our house is over flowing and I just can’t thank God enough for this gift of our little Max.

The recovery process for me started slower than I would have liked. I blame age lol. But over all my body ‘bouncing’ back physically has amazed me. I gained a total of 27 lbs this pregnancy. Compared to my 63 with Sophia and 67 with Jay this was a huge win for me. I sat out on this path nine months ago to have the healthiest pregnancy possible. I was determined to treat my body better. I worked out the majority of my pregnancy 2-4 times a week and still gave into my cravings like any good pregnant momma.

The journey to life with three is just starting. I’m excited, scared, nervous, but mostly practicing grace with myself. Postpartum in the past has been hard for me and again I’m ready to do it differently. Do things the healthy way. It’s about MIND BODY SOUL…all those areas need to be taken care of. Since I can’t workout and need to wait for my body to heal a bit I’m starting my focus on Mind (personal development), Food (fueling my body to make lots of milk!) and lots of grace!

Thank you all for sharing this journey with us!our new chapter is just beginning and I can’t wait to share with you!
