Quick Shameless plug today on the blog. I wrote a book!

Y’all I spent most of 2019 writing several books and in 2020 I am officially naming myself a PUBLISHED writer! There is something so sweet about the smell of a book with your own name on the cover.

I literally wake up every single morning thanking God that he has allowed me to use my gifts in such a good, healthy and inspiring way.

A lot of people are asking me who is this book for? Honestly this book is for ANYONE, even if you aren’t a mom yet or ever will be. This book is for anyone who needs to have some accountability in finding themselves and being more selfish!

The book consists of daily check in’s over 60 days and sprinkled with my stories, tips and tricks for living that Selfish Mom Project Life.

This was probably the scariest thing I have ever put out in my life. Putting your heart on your sleeve is one thing, but putting it on amazon is a whole other level of fear. But FEARLESS is my word this year so I’m going for it!

I have to realize that this is what it takes to do all the things I want to accomplish in 2020…BE FEARLESS.

This sweet little starter book is the beginning of a career that I have dreamed about since 2017. Its just a small piece of a much bigger puzzle. More to come on that later this year…

Now 2019 might have been the year I spent a lot of time writing my own book but it was also the year I rediscovered the escape read.

In the past I’ve always shared my thoughts through reviews on books, but this year seemed really different because I started getting back into some books that my friend calls ‘escape reads.’ See sometimes self-love and self-care can come in all kinds of packages and sometimes it’s about just picking up a book no matter what kind of book it is!

Don’t get me wrong I’m still reading all the personal development books out there! Especially considering that I consider myself a personal development writer, but I’ve found that last year was a great mixture of books for me both as escape reads and personal development reads.
